Chia orbs are the perfect on the go snack for anyone looking for a sustainable energy boost. Loaded with protein, fiber and good fats, these orbs offer a delicious dose of balanced nutrition to power you up and keep your energy levels going strong. My boys love these as snacks and request a new batch whenever we run out. They are a constant item on my weekly menu planner. The bellow recipe makes a large batch (4-6 people) you may want to half it. You will need: 1 cup chia seeds 4 tablespoons nut butter of your choice (cashew or sesame) 12 tablespoons almond butter 6 tablespoons vegan protein powder 6 tablespoons raw cacao powder 1/4 teaspoon sea salt 6 tablespoons raw honey 2 tablespoons coconut oil (melted) 1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut 1 teaspoon vanilla extract shredded coconut for rolling Simply mix all your ingredients together, use a wooden spoon as the mixture is very thick and will take a bit of work to blend well. Making your own organic superfood muesli is a fabulous way to ensure you and your family get good nutrition and energy to start off the day with a sparkle in your step. The following recipe is loaded with essential nutrients that will feed your every cell with beautiful nutritional information. We like to top our muesli with fresh berries when in season, various seasonal fruits and coconut yogurt or fresh nut milk. This breakfast staple is always well stocked in our cupboards. You will need: 3 cups organic oats 3/4 cup organic pumpkin seeds 1 cup cashew nuts 1 cup organic walnuts 3/4 cup organic chia seeds 3 cups organic shredded coconut 1 cup organic goji berries 3/4 cup organic raw cacao nibs 3/4 cup organic raw cacao powder 1 tsp organic vanilla extract Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spread a line layer of oats on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Store in a large airtight glass jar in a dry, cool place....

Chai. the heavenly world of the spice infused tea and all the variations are out-of-this-world! here is a delicious recipe that has no caffeine! actually there is no tea, just spices, superfoods and nut milk. I recommend this recipe to those who are trying to kick the caffeine habit. I originally found this recipe on the Saf app and have changed it up a bit. We have dubbed this Bliss Chai! it’s that tasty and is pure goodness. Bliss chai 2 1/2 cups Almond milk 2 tsp Mesquite 1/2 tsp Cardamon 1/2 tsp Cinnamon 1 1/2 tsp Ginger 1 tsp cacao butter 4 tsp coconut nectar (adjust to own liking) pinch of icelandic sea salt Gently heat up your Almond milk in a sauce pan. Add all other ingredients into a blender, add warm almond milk, give it a spin and serve warm. The spices will begin to settle as the chai sits, so you may want to have a stir spoon as you sip away. Raw Solla is one of my all time favorite raw food chefs. I first experienced her contagious uplifting energy at the Womens Wellness conference and have been an ecstatic fan ever since. The following recipe is one she shared at the Longevity now conference 2014, I have made this recipe many times for all sorts of peeps and not only is it crazy easy but its mind-blowing good! I’m always asked for this recipe, so thought it would be a good one to share here. Crust: 2 1/2 c pecans 1 1/2 c dates 1/2c mulberries 3 tbsp Jing City or raw cacao powder 1 tsp ashwagandha vanilla sea salt Add all ingredients to a food processor, blend until crust sticks together. To test take a little chunk and squish into a ball, if it holds its ready. Spread and pat into the bottom of a beautiful dish. Filling: 3c blueberries (frozen or fresh) but can really use any berry or mic of your choice 1c coconut butter 1c almond butter (or cashews soaked over night) 1/2c coconut nectar 1/4c ground chia seeds 1tsp vanilla Again, blend all ingredients together until smooth. Gently pour and spread over the crust layer. Top with fresh berries of your choice and refrigerate or pop in freezer for 10 minutes.
